Coronavirus: The Mother Nature revenge

Coronavirus: The Mother Nature revenge

I remember when I said to my husband about a week ago that f*cking coronavirus looks like Mother Nature revenge. Now I’m pretty sure I wasn’t far away from the truth. We do not care enough for our planet. We do so many stupid and unnecessary things.

I remember how we all were crying because of the Amazon rainforest fire ‘Lungs of the world’ and Australian Fire. We donated money, shared all those sad pictures, so many celebrities were concerned. And ironically some of them do not have a problem with killing animals for stupid fashionable bags and furs etc.

I’m not saying I’m perfect but there are so many things we can do to reduce all that crap which we serving to our planet every day. You will not lose your crown if you will start using reusable bags for veggies and fruits. Nothing bad will happened to you if you will start using reusable bottles with filters. Volunteer for cleanups in your community and use a long-lasting light bulb. If you like a sport you can use a bike instead of driving a car too often.

Coronavirus The Mother Nature revenge

Now you will ask what coronavirus has common with all of it. I don’t know but it started in China the most polluted country in the world. And virus pandemic leads to a huge drop in air pollution in the whole country.

I remember when I was in Venice in Italy a few years ago. Magical experience but I was aware of rats that were close to canals and the water there was so dirty you couldn’t see any fish. Now during a pandemic, even dolphins came back to Venice waters. And it looks stunning.

And what about this year during the winter.  Were you actually able to feel that was a winter? I thought we had longer autumn and that’s it. It will be a big drama during the summer. I believe it can be the hottest and dry summer ever. What does it mean? More fires, agriculture can collapse and we worked for that global warming very hard.

We are killing animals for stupid furs or expensive bags. We are testing cosmetics on animals and treat them in a non-humanitarian way only because we want to eat meat. We use too much plastic and most of that crap is on our oceans, seas. We don’t care about forests. We do not have a problem cutting them out for new buildings like supermarkets, shopping centers.

I can see a pattern in it. I can see that our Mother Nature is fucking pissed off. And she didn’t say a final word.

Maybe for now she just wants to warn us. Teach us to slow down. Maybe she wants to show us that we are not so invincible. It’s a good time to consider our lifestyles. To stop and think about what is really important.

Let us know if you have similar feelings! And how you try to stay safe during coronavirus outbreak.

We are definitely facing the consequences of our human actions over time. And Mother Nature is healing itself on its own, because we just keep destroying her.

My husband and I watched the movie The Happening last weekend and it reminded me how much control Mother Nature has over us. And I totally agree with you – I think she isn’t happy with how we’ve dealt with things and this is her way of course correcting.

I just hope we pay attention.

If everybody was personally responsible then the whole world would be a better place. I have seen some pretty awful things even this week and even in the middle of quarantine. While I would say that most people do care, the few who don’t ruin things for everyone.

It’s definitely a time to revisit how we can be better stewards of our earth. I hope people allow this time to actually slow down their lives enough to think about how they can more positively make an impact.

I agree with most of your points, it’s our fault entirely. I was astounded to see that people are still using air conditioners during this time (not the environment friendly ones either). Just hope they make some global rules after this to keep our environment safe and clean

I actually love how mother earth is healing during these times. As for us who are now in the comfort of our homes, let’s continue on evaluating past actions, and researching on what better ways can we use in the future to help protect mother earth. 🙂

Mother Nature is always in control; however, there’s no reason we can’t live in unison. Even then, though, there will be fires, viruses, and other things to maintain balance in the world.

This is such a brave post. Mother Nature is telling us ‘Enough is enough.’ This disease came about because of human meddling. I’m not saying we deserve this but we certainly don’t help ourselves.

I am definitely grateful for the little blessings in my life every day. I think this pandemic has brought our the good in a lot of people.

There are so many simple changes people can make, it surprises me that more don’t do it. As you said, no one is perfect but we can make an effort! For example, I purchased one of those Brita self-filtering water bottles last year. Now I can enjoy the taste of fresh filtered water straight from the tap – plus it has helped to increase the amount of water I’m drinking! The other bonus? You will save money because while there is an initial investment required, you don’t have to spend money to refill it (just the filter every few months). Much cheaper than buying bottled water.

Without the destructive nature of us human beings, the world will be better and peacefully beautiful.

I have had this feeling for a very long time. We have harmed, killed, caged animals for years. Now they are doing the same to us. We are caged in our own houses.

I think this pandemic has really opened our eyes in what’s happening to the world. I really hope we learned our lesson as Mother Nature heals.

I agree with all of that!! I think this virus is at least great for one thing: letting Mother Earth breathe again! Now I am scared of the after-lockdown, I think people might go crazy and do even more stupid things. It is so easy to be careful with what you are doing, we don’t ask you to be perfect, but if everyone is doing a little bit we can help our Earth!

The only positive thing about this coronavirus is how nature is healing itself. Imagine how life will be so wonderful without destroying nature, I always say humans are the authors of whatever is killing them now

It’s like she pressed a big reset button. I wonder how long it will last once this is over though. Let’s hope people will choose to live better for the good of the planet and others.
