Being a Mom changed a lot in my life. I want to give to my child everything what’s best. Especially food. I believe that learning healthy eating habits at a young age can reap benefits for a lifetime. So I’m trying to do a lot by myself. Only in that way I know what my baby is eating. I was going through thousands of bread recipes and I couldn’t find any good one. Fortunately my friend became a Mom as well and she gave me best recipe ever.
I’m sure that most of us eat bread at least once a day. But do you know what ingredients they are putting inside to keep it fresh for couple of days? Do you really want to give it to your baby? I will give you a recipe which will allow you to make a bread in…10 minutes? And what’s more it’s really tasty and delicious. You don’t need to use any oil, preservatives or antioxidants.
So try this simple, traditional white bread recipe 🙂 The ingredients are really easy to get (you probably have most, if not all).
Ingredients
25g fresh yeast
500g white flour
1 tsp sugar
1 tsp salt
1 tsp olive oil
4 tbsp oats
500 ml warm water
Method
1. Mix water, sugar, salt, oats and yeast in large bowl.
Mix it well and leave to rise for 20 minutes in warm place.
2. After 20 minutes add olive oil and slowly start adding flour ad don’t forget to mix it all the time. (I’m using tbsp for mixing). And your dough is ready!
3. Preheat the oven to 180°C. Place your bread dough on to a flour-dusted baking tray and into the preheated oven. Bake for 1 hour, until cooked and golden brown.
And voila!
Your tasty and healthy bread is ready.

That sounds so simple but I’ve never had much luck with it. – I tried several years ago and it always remained flat and dense. Would love to be able to make my own bread. Maybe I should give it another try

6 May 2017 at 15:51It’s true! Bread is so simple to make…though time consuming, even with instant yeast. I have been making a lot less of it than I used to..but I bought a baguette pan so I really need to get back to the bread makin! I left off a couple months ago trying to master home made bagels. Nice loaf!

Wow! That home made bread looks so soft and delicious! Yum! I agree it’s important to instill healthy eating habits with your children. I don’t always eat the healthiest as I have a sweet tooth but I try to get my kids to eat a lot of fruits instead. Thanks for sharing his recipe. Looks great.
