New Year New Me- New Year’s Resolutions
It’s that time of year when we are setting New Year’s resolutions. The lists are quite long and most of them are rarely kept beyond the first week of the year. But at least we know what we need to improve in our lives. Obviously, I’m also into this and I’ve started my New Year with good attitude ‘New Year New Me’ 🙂
So, I have on my list some changes which I should do as a Mom, Wife, Blogger and a Woman. If you are looking for effective ways of changing your life (obviously for the better), you can find here some inspirations.
1.Turn the phone off more often
I was trying really hard to not use my phone when I’m with my baby boy but sometimes I failed. As a blogger, I need to reply to my emails, checking messages etc so the easiest is to use the phone. But I need to remember that first I’m a Mom and my son needs my attention more than anything.
2. Follow my gluten and dairy free diet
I need it to feel healthier. I have new recipes and lots of gluten and dairy free products. I don’t give up and I carry on. Hopefully, to see soon some good results.
3. Read more
I used to love to read books. I was a maniac. I thought that after having a baby I will have time to read at least one book a month. But I read maybe two or three books and my son is 20 months old! I have a lot of new books so I need to find a time to read them. I really need to!
4. Spend more time with my husband
Is not like I don’t see him or something. We just need more time only for us without TV, computers, and phones. I missed that time when we could lie on the sofa and cuddle for hours.
5. Smile more
Every day when I’m at work someone is asking me ‘Why you are not smiling’. I really don’t like to smile to everyone like a stupid and without a reason but maybe I need to try.
6. Become more organised
Not only at home or work but also on my blog. I need to start to post more content. I need to start writing down everything in my journal.
7. Learn a new skill
I always wanted to learn how to take nice pictures. Maybe some photography course? Why not. Is always good to learn something new.
8. Get more quality sleep
That one can be the hardest. My son still likes to wake up during the night but it’s better than was so maybe until the end of the year I will be able to sleep 8 hours without a break 😉
9. I’m important!
Yes! I need more ‘me’ time without a baby and a husband. I need to have time to relax. I need to remember that I’m only a human and I can’t always make everyone happy. Sometimes I need a break from my ‘everyday life’.
10. Be more positive
Life is so much easier when you see everything in bright colours. I need to put aside my pessimistic nature. I have to rid my life of the most negative influences in it and learn to focus on the positive things.
I hope I will be able to complete t least half of my new year resolutions. I’m really motivated so finger crossed. Let me know if you set up any resolutions this year.
