4 amazing movies you should watch on Netflix during Christmas

Christmas movies on Netflix

Our favourite movies on Netflix during Christmas

Without a doubt, Christmas is one of the best time a year. There are so many traditional activities you can do to make Christmas special. One of them is watching holiday movies. For me, Christmas Day is not complete without sitting on the couch with my husband with a hot beverage and cosy blanket. As Christmas does not last for a long and we both need to go to work, our movie list can’t be too long. So we always need to choose carefully what we need to watch. Thank God we have Netflix so we have all amazing movies in one place.

Here is our shortlist for this year 🙂

Christmas movies on Netflix

Netflix during Christmas For kids

Trolls Holiday

Enjoyable family movie with lovely music, awesome animation and a lot of humour. Everything that I expect to see on Netflix. The show highlights positive messages of friendship and the importance of listening. It’s hard to imagine the world without not having a single holiday to celebrate. And that’s what happened to the Bergens. Literally, they have nothing to celebrate. Of course, our Trolls have more holidays than they know what to do with. And guess what? They’ve decided to share the joy! You need to note that it’s better to watch the ‘Trolls’ movie before you will decide to see this short but sweet holiday special 🙂

Arthur Christmas

I really like that heart-warming story. In this movie, your kids are able to meet Santa’s family. His two sons: ambitious elder Steve (who co-ordinate the annual present-delivering operation, which is nowadays largely automated to cope with the global population boom} and youngest Arthur (who answers children’s letters to his father, Santa, at the Christmas family’s North Pole base). And of course, we can’t forget about Grandsanta 🙂 Now something about a plot: Can you imagine the situation when are all kids getting their Christmas presents except one little girl? I know! It would be a disaster. That’s why our hero Arthur decided to deliver the gift before sunrise himself, with a little help of his Grandsanta and an elf called Bryony. As you can expect it will cause a lot of funny situations. Your kids will love to watch how Arthus is saving a Christmas.

Netflix during Christmas For Adults

A Bad Mom Christmas

It is a sequel to the 2016 film, Bad Moms. The plot follows the three moms from the first film dealing with their own mothers visiting during the Christmas holiday. Which means a big f*cking (and funny) disaster. I enjoyed watching the first movie so I knew I will have fun on that holiday special. Plus I love Mila Kunis, Kristen Bell, and Kathryn Hahn for me they are a perfect combo. It’s a good movie for everyone who wants to relax and laugh a little bit. You don’t need to use your brain too much to understand a plot so it’s perfect for resting and enjoying free time on the sofa with a nice beverage.

Love Actually

For me, it’s a must-see for Christmas films. It’s my favourite one. I’m really grateful that it’s available on Netflix during Christmas. The first movie in my life which I watched without polish subtitles just in English. It was when I was in high school and now I’m over 30 so it’s a long-time love. I even can’t choose which couple is the best one. All the actors and actresses are amazing. I adore music and jokes. So, the movie is about love on every stage of our life even when we are kids and we have our first crush. We have ten real love stories and it’s impossible to lose interest. On the end, all the stories coming together at a Christmas concert really do feel like a Christmas miracle. Everyone should watch it doesn’t matter if you are single, divorced or in a relationship.

The kids and I have been making the rounds of Christmas movies for a couple of weeks now! It has been a fun change in routine. Our choices have been Elf, Home Alone, and a few tacky Christmas movies.
